Field- and Current-Driven Magnetic Domain-Wall Inverter and Diode

چکیده
In analogy to charge in conventional circuitry, magnetic domain walls provide an alternative medium for encoding digital information. The authors exploit the lateral coupling between out-of-plane and in-plane regions induced by interfacial Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction thin films realize both field- current-driven domain-wall inverters. Nonreciprocity transport is introduced breaking symmetry of inverter's geometry, thus realizing a diode. This innovative component enhances flexibility design circuits extends operation devices ac-signal regime.
